The lens is mated to a Sony A100 DSLR camera. It replaced the factory Sony 18-70mm lens. The flexibility of a zoom lens this size is just great. Much less time is needed to adjust photos when you can use the zoom to frame your shots so much better. Outdoor activity is a great match to the lens, once you review the detail of the photos on your PC you will be quite happy. I use it as an everyday...
