Canon EOS 60DStrengths: Vari-angle LCD, 18MP sensor, 1080 video at 30fps. pcture quality is exellent. Body construction good. Weight and grip good. Battery life is great. Top settings LCD. DIGIC 4 Processor. Price Weakness: Control buttons on back are a little flush with body. Mode Dial lock takes getting used to. Would be nice if Mode Dial turned 360 to get to Video mode faster. All LCDs are terrible in sunlight. This is an upgrade from the Canon T1i. An excellent camera. But I wanted more flexibilty to shoot above and below objects as well as video. When I saw that the 60D came a vari-angle/articulate LCD, that sold me. Turns out that this was much more than an upgrade from the T1i. The 60D is not in the Rebel family. It offers more flexibily in audio. Better video. An excellent 3:2, 3 inch, 1.04 million...

Canon EOS 60D (body only)
THE GOOD: Very fast; articulated display; excellent video quality and options. THE BAD: Some annoying interface conventions. THE BOTTOM LINE: The Canon EOS 60D is in many ways a great camera: fast, feature-packed, and with excellent photo and video quality. Some annoying aspects of its control layout dim its shine a little, however, so try before you buy. Top

Canon EOS 60D | Body Only
The Canon EOS 60D is a high-end digital SLR camera designed for casual users interested in professional grade quality photographs. The EOS 60D features an 18 megapixel CMOS censor combined with Canons Digic 4 processor which Canon claims will work "seamlessly for finer detail and excellent color reproduction". Canon EOS 60D Review
More clearly aimed at the consumer market, the Canon 60D represents something of a sea change for this formerly enthusiast camera line. With the 7D now tasked to meet the intermediate to professional photographer's needs, Canon has retooled the 60D to better serve as a step-up model for Rebel owners who want a little more, rather than as the lower-priced competition to the 7D. The Canon 60D is... Top

Canon EOS 60D Review
The Canon EOS 60D is Canon’s latest addition to their DSLR line and sits between the Digital Rebel T2i and EOS 7D in terms of both price and features. Canon certainly seems to have produced another winner in the EOS 60D. It’s a very useful update of the 50D, adding more pixels, HD video, a tilt and swivel LCD and lots of other small refinements. <p> Top

DCRP Review: Canon EOS-60D
The Canon EOS-60D is a solid offering in the midrange digital SLR space. With its very good photo quality (especially with a decent lens), rotating, super high resolution LCD, generally snappy performance, full set of manual controls, Full HD movie mode, and decent selection of bells and whistles, it definitely is a worthy successor to the EOS-50D. Canon EOS 60D Review
The EOS 60D is a new kind of DSLR camera from Canon, blending features from the cheaper 550D / / Rebel T2i and the more expensive 7D to exactly occupy the middle ground between the two. Aimed at the well-heeled amateur with a penchant for video, the 60D is the first EOS camera to offer an articulated LCD screen, making it easier to shoot both stills and importantly video. Canon EOS 60D review at Camera Labs
There's two ways of looking at the EOS 60D. First is as Canon's new mid-range DSLR, in which case it sits perfectly between the existing EOS 550D / T2i and EOS 7D. It offers a number of benefits to differentiate itself from entry-level models without stepping on the toes of true semi-pro models. So like the Nikon D90, you get some nice higher-end features without the cost, weight, size or... Top

Canon EOS 60D - Body Only
Strengths: 3" variable angle, articulating LCD, 18 MP, excellent battery life, very good low light performance with high ISO, no noticeable noise up to 3,200, great quality photos, HD video, value.
Weakness: Live view makes the AF a little slow and isn't much use for still shooting.
This camera has met or exceeded my expectations in nearly every respect. I decided to purchased it after reading the reviews about its performance in low light situations. I prefer to shoot using natural light when available and find that a flash often changes the mood of the shot. I am upgrading from the Canon 20D, which while being a pretty good camera, generated noise starting around ISO 400....
