Remote Switch RS-60E3

Strengths: versatile, compact, easy to use

Weakness: would be better with a longer cable

overall great product. it is versatile, compact, and very simple to use. the only drawback that i personally have ist the length of the cable. i would prefer to have at least another 12 to 18 inches.

Canon RS-60E3 Remote Control

Strengths: price

Weakness: none

This is a must to help eliminate vibrations when using slow shutter speeds. Great price and has a nice holder for the protective cap built in, so you won't lose it.

Canon RS-60E3 Remote Control

Strengths: Easy to use Compact

Weakness: Lacks a way to attatch to anything

This is a gret product for Canon equipment. I have used this before and never had a complaint. Allows you to take a picture remotely and without shaking the camera. Great prioduct for amatuers and proffesionals.

Canon RS-60E3 Remote Control

Strengths: Convenient. Easy to use. Nice locking mechanism.

Weakness: Camera-specific. Can get stuck.

I have had several episodes where the shutter lock gets stuck and the camera won't take a photo with the remote switch. Had to turn off camera, disconnect, cold boot. Pissed me off. Not sure why this happens.

Canon RS-60E3 Remote Control

Strengths: Allows you to set up and take pictures quickly.

Weakness: It's cord is way to short to use for the purpose that I got it. Shutter button is easily put on continual shooting

I was very disappointed when I received this product in the mail. I wanted to put my camera on a tripod and set up my subject and shoot when I wanted, hide from my subject and shoot them, or touch a child's nose to get them to smile and shoot their picture like in a studio, but this cord is only about 18 inches long and is almost worthless to me. I have also had a problem with the shutter lock....

I love it so much - Now I can't use my Camera with...

Strengths: One word - Very easy to use it.

Weakness: So far none

I bought this as an accessory to my first DSLR Canon EOS Digital Rebel XT. I love it so much as it prevented camera shacking while taking photos. I should have bought this at the same time I bought my Camera. I used the camera with out this in two my daughter's preschool events. I got some shaky photos. Since I started using this so far I didn't get any shaky photos. And also I am having fun...

A Must Have

Strengths: A Must have

Weakness: Short cable

Everyone whose primary purpose for his/her DSLR is to take pictures of babies must know the need for a remote shutter release. This remote is a bit expensive compared to other generic devices that can be purchased at Ebay, but, look, it's genuine Canon. Much sturdier and slicker indeed. Great product.

I'm very satisfied

Strengths: Works just like it should. Product arrived on-time.

Weakness: None

This remote switch works with my Digital Rebel XT as it is supposed to, and that's all I can ask for. Combined with a sturdy tripod, this will help expand my photo-taking opportunities.

Flimsy product

Strengths: Compact, simple

Weakness: Fragile

EDIT: I originally gave this a 5-star rating, but this item stopped working after only a few months of use. I replaced it with an Adorama remote switch which has been working wonderfully for about a year and a half now. ORIGINAL REVIEW: I don't think there's much one could say about this product. But that's a good thing. It's made to accomplish a single task and it does that job very well....

Easy remote

Strengths: 1. Simple 2. Light

Weakness: None so far

This remote is the most simple remote out there. It only has one button and thus, anyone can use it without their brain. Some people say it's easy to break, however, I don't think that's the case because remote is just a tool for tripod photos. I don't think it will break unless you abuse it. The weight and size of the remote is small. The only thing that I can say about this is probably it will...
