Seems like a great camera, but...Strengths: SDHC memory, 12MP Weakness: Blurry edges with minimal motion? First off, this camera seems every bit as good as my previous Rebel XTi. I like the fact that it uses SDHC memory instead of the old CF memory. Only problem I'm having is - I seem to get some motion blurring in full-Auto mode (flash on, using a stock Canon 15-75mm EF lens) - even when there is very little motion (i.e. someone is moving their fingers). I didn't have this problem on the XTi. Maybe I need to read the manual :) I think if I can fix this issue the camera will be just as good as the XTi, and the next logical step up for me. Canon EOS Rebel XSi (body only, silver)
THE GOOD: Excellent photo quality for its class; better-than-average speed. THE BAD: Maximum ISO 1600; huge spot-for-spot metering. THE BOTTOM LINE: It doesnt stand out for its feature set or design, but the Canon EOS Rebel XSi delivers on performance and photo quality. Top

Canon EOS 450D / Canon EOS Rebel XSi
After testing the Canon EOS 450D I am really satisfied with the camera. It is a perfect camera for everybody. If you are just starting with (digital) photography or if you are a bit more experienced, and whether or not you switch from a compact camera, the Canon 450D enables you to take excellent pictures. Moreover, it comes at an extremely affordable price. Top

DCRP Review: Canon EOS Rebel XSi
The Canon EOS Rebel XSi is a very good entry-level digital SLR. It offers very good photo quality (with the appropriate tweaks), lighting fast performance, live view, and a large LCD display. The camera has its share of flaws, though, including soft JPEGs at default settings, redeye, sluggish contrast detect autofocus, and a rather high price. Still, the Rebel XSi is a solid choice for those... Top

Canon Digital Rebel XSi Digital Camera Review
The Canon Digital Rebel XSi is an update to last year's XTi that ups the resolution to 12.2 megapixels and adds a handful of other new features, including a bigger 3-inch screen, an improved autofocus system, and optical image stabilization in the kit lens. It's also the first Digital Rebel to feature the now commonplace Live View mode, which provides a point-and-shoot-esque live view of the... Top

My first digital SLR
Strengths: It is what I expected in a SLR camera. All the 35mm lenses from my Rebel work on this camera.
Weakness: There is no attachment for the lens cap. The old speedlite flash is not compatible with this camera. The rubber door on the left side of the camera is easily opened. It feels like I may rip it out,
I have two other digital camera, but there shutters were too slow for taking action pictures. I have not spent much time with the manual, and I have been able go through the menu to find all the settings.
